There is something for everyone here - paths, playgrounds, water views and a sculpture garden. We enjoyed exploring the park and were interested in seeing the remains of the July 4 fireworks the next day.

Fairmount Park is huge. There are soo many different areas to explore. The plateau was awesome, you can see center city from there. Many trails to walk and bike.

This park is in serious need of some TLC. The green space is nice, but the "attractions" are desperately in need of maintenance and care. We chose not pay the admission fee to visit the Japanese House but the garden surrounding it is beautiful. If...More

I spent a day at Fairmont Park watching a regatta on the Schuykill River. This park is terrific- great jogging trails- all overlooking the river. Very pretty. Towards the sound end of the park there is “boathouse row” where a lot of Rowing clubs have...More

Upon the recommendation of a Philadelphia local, we decided to come here to stroll by the river and watch the boats rowing up and down the river. We walked along the river and admired the different sculptures along the way including a Frederick Remington. Boat...More

My apologies these do not get pushed to me. I would not go into the park at night unless I had a group with me and only in certain sections. There are other parks in the area I would use instead.
