I have been to Rittenhouse Square area and park many times and it always draws me back. The park continued to have beautiful live flowers and greenery even though I was there in November. It is kept clean, and you won't find dog feces there. I brought my 2 pooches with me, and we enjoyed meeting other dogs in the... More

In some chick-lit I've read characters have lived around Rittenhouse so I'd wanted to see it. Well, we did, and it was just a square. It's lovely, and large, but it's just one of the multiple lovely squares in Philadelphia. This one has a Barney's across from it, and if upscale shopping is your thing then Rittenhouse is your destination.... More

When you are trying to negotiate the fits-and-starts of traffic among Philadelphia’s high rises and skyscrapers on your way to Rittenhouse Square for a lovely lunch with friends you might pause and think about what has happened to William Penn’s 1682 design of Philadelphia as a “a greene country town." Bordered by the Delaware and Schuylkill Rivers, individual houses were... More

Many places to eat outside or inside and enjoy a walk around the park. Entertainers are also abound.

This is a beautiful, magical place. We never go to Philly without taking time to sit on a bench here and watch the dogs being walked by their owners. Tall mature trees, idyllic space with open air restaurants all around - it doesn't get better than this in Philly.

The ambiance, the cutting edge eateries, the high end hotels and shops all make Rittenhouse Square a great "go to" location. The only downside is that street parking is impossible to find and there is only on parking garage that I could find on the square and it was pretty pricey. Would I continue to go there? Of course, but... More
