This is great for kids and adults will find it interesting. There is a lot of walking but well worth it. My nephew really had a good time.

Very interesting! Essentially one exhibit, on how money is made, with interactive touch screens and big windows looking over the mint machines. (Note: no photography is allowed in the mint.) The kids (11 and 7) loved it! The gift shop has interesting things in it.

We spent 1.5-2 hours here. My son and husband loved the history of the coins as well as how they are made. They have a small museum like area that you can walk around first, a short movie about the history of coin making and then you can watch the factory workers. Very informative and setup nicely.

This was awesome to take the kids to see how they make the money. They learned a lot and enjoyed every second. It is very educational.

Great visit. You get to see and watch how coins are made, learn about the history of coins and also see a huge variety of old coins. The setup is awesome and a self guided tour is easy. I fully recommend a visit. Make sure you see Ben franklins grave that's next door as many miss it.

BRING YOUR ID... I left my purse in the car, which was parked too far away and did not have a photo ID, so I had to wait outside while my family was inside.... They liked it as they saw coin money manufactured... Visit the Fed Reserve which has a money exhibit that I thought was worth the stop and... More

Great opportunity to see how our coins are made. No photos may be taken as you follow step by step the process of making coins in America. This is an interesting family type of point of interest. As you are inside, this tour may be taken during any kind of weather. You will be happy that you included this point... More

We stopped at the Mint as part of a private 3 hour walking tour of Philadelphia. My two grandsons love coins and the building was air conditioned on a Saturday in August when the heat index was 112 degrees. Unfortunately because it was Saturday no coins were actually being made. Nevertheless my grandsons enjoyed the displays and looking into where... More

A very fun palce to visit and self guided tour through the making of money. Watch coins go from slabs of metal to finsihed products. No samples are given, but it has a nice gift shop

Although a resident of Philadelphia's Main Line for more than 25 years, I had never visited the Mint. A return visit with friends featured a terrific self-guided tour. I highly recommend it to Philly residents and visitors alike!
