Nice respite

Visited during an exceptionally warm weekend in winter. Was able to sit outside in Adirondack chairs and sip whiskey and beer. Good food and family friendly atmosphere.

Walk down here when you see Christ Church, Elfeth's Alley, and the Betsy Ross House. Nice view of the Delaware.

At first glance, Penn's Landing is a large open arena where special events can be held, but if you see it as a place to relax, visit the nearby maritime museum, or take your kids ice skating in the winter, it's a perfect place to spend some time.

We decided to finish our day in Philly at Penn's Landing Winterfest. The skating rink was too small for the amount of people they had, the arcade didn't have as many games that the crowd required but everything was very well organized. Parking is way too much for this attraction.

What exactly is this beyond a space to host events? It's a great place to see the fireworks (two NYE in a row) especially overlooking the skating rink. However I think the restaurants are a huge money hole.

Enjoyed the stroll by the water, but there wasn't really much going on in the area. Very beautiful though. Could be developed so much more.

My family and I went to the see the Tall Ships last summer. The crowds were heavy. It was about 40 minutes to see a smaller ship and up to an hour to get on the more popular ships. Food and drink were expensive. I will not go again. Penn's landing without an event is a nice walk around. The... More

Took a nice afternoon walk along Penns Landing. So many different things to do. Museums, boat tours, River Rink, Stone Harbor Park. Great place to visit.
