I have been a member there for 3 years and enjoyed every stay. The only problem is, there are no actual parking for "members" especially if the lots are all full or the stacked parking are full we have to park blocks down which isn't far for those like myself that contribute more money to help the Zoo. Also, there... More

It had been a few years since we visited the zoo. We were pleasantly surprised to find a new parking garage which was a huge improvement! The keepers were great and were able to answer all of our questions about the animals. I love the fact that they allow you to bring lunch/drinks with you. That saves a lot of... More

This is a surprisingly good zoo. In my experience, urban zoos tend to be depressing places with small enclosures and hoards of people. The enclosures here are not huge, by any means, but they're not so small that you feel guilty just for being there (ahem, Brandywine Zoo). And even though the place was packed it was not unbearably crowded... More

We took our 2 year old niece for a visit and had a good time. Many of the exhibitions are outdoors, so be ready for any weather. The great cat exhibition seemed to be redone recently, and had a very nice layout for the animals and for viewers. One note on the very high fees for admission and parking: If... More

We went to the zoo while in the area and our 2 yr old really enjoyed it. There are lots of exhibits with a lot of different animals to be seen. Overall the zoo was very informational and very clean. The animals looked to be well taken care of and they had decent size enclosures. Our child loved the monkeys... More

The new zoo had many attractions which children of all ages enjoy--including their grandparents. The children were amazed about how 'close' the animals were and they were excited to experience a hands-on perspective as they fed and pet the ponies. Lunch at the restaurant areas was another high point of their day and our grandson didn't want to leave the... More

Forget the Columbus Zoo or the National Zoo, this is one of the best zoos I have ever been to. The Zoo360 idea is fantastic and should be copied to every zoo everywhere. Seeing the gorillas and tigers and monkeys be able to get outside and cover large distances, climb up trees and change scenery was an amazingly beautiful feeling.... More
