Interesting place to visit, if you're into that stuff. Husband is a Fire Lt, so it was on our must do list. Love that they included some 9/11 artifacts.

Nice museum with a good collection of historical firefighting equipment. The old concept of fire "insurance" is really interesting. There is no charge for admission, only a donation. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

This is a sight worth stopping at if you like historical fire apparatus. In the first firehouse, lots of old type fire trucks, equipment. Little children LOVED it. Clean bathrooms, small gift shop, Free plus donation.

This is the place for you if you love all things fireman. Great collection of historic early fireman's artifacts. It is not a large place but they do have quite of information packed in here.
