Bill was excellent! As a retired school teacher, he presented the information with a zest and with character. He dressed in clothing reminiscent of 1700's. He describes details that few would see. He describes what the area was like in the early 1970's. Everyone who can walk, should take this tour!

Outstanding!! Bill was a great narrator and provided lots and lots of background history at every step. It's a great way to learn where you want to spend more time (like Franklin's Museum).

There are so many historic sites in Philadelphia, it is nice to have someone else choose where to go and what to see. We had seen a Groupon for this tour and the tour seller on the street beat that price by a dollar, so that was nice. The young lady who was our guide was very friendly and informative.... More

This is a great experience. Ben speaks of everything in first person and really knows Ben Franklin. He asked where we were all from so that he could relate our different regions to what was going on in the country at that time. It was a particularly hot day and he tried to use the shade when we were talking... More

Clark did an excellent job with guiding this tour. He was informative, enlightening and witty, His final "talk" on the true meaning of the Liberty Bell and how its symbolism continues to resonate in today's world was powerful. I highly recommend this tour. Jim - North Carolina

Our guide had excellent blend of knowledge, humor and openness. We did the 90 minute tour on a 90 degree day and that worked fine.

Our guide was Ben himelself. He was so authentic. The tour started out humorously with him criticizing our modern day clothes. It was entertaining and educational. I felt he gave all the kids personal attention. I have gone on a lot of tours but this was my all time favorite.

Our guide, Ben, was dressed like Ben Franklin and he was funny, entertaining, and informative. I loved getting the history tidbits that you don't find in the historical buildings.

We did not have a lot of time to tour everything so we opted to take this walking tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable as he was a native who had grown up not far from the area. The tour lasted about an hour and forty five minutes stopping at (but not entering) the most important landmarks in Philadelphia. Definitely... More

What a fantastic tour. Our guide captivated our imaginations before even leaving the visitor center. I learned so much about Ben Franklin, William Penn, George Washington and got really neat insights on Betsy Ross, Reverand Allen, Quakers, Liberty Bell, St. Catherine Drexler of Philly, etc. Things were pointed out and details shared I would not have gotten had I just...
