If you weren't looking for it, the Italian Market has it! A huge offering of fresh fruits and vegetables, meats and cheeses, and everything needed for an Italian feast. Could have spent hours there had the weather cooperated better!

Many historic delis, cheeseshops, butchers, and stores that make up the Italian part of town. Although there arent as many italians as one time, there are still great places to visit here. Among my favorites are Fantes, Dibruno Esposito, & Claudios

The Italian Market is one of Philly's most well-known neighborhoods, and for good reason. The food is great, and it's a nice place for people watching. There are also plenty of murals, as with most Philly neighborhoods. Also, the touristy rivals Pat's and Geno's are down here as well. To get here, take the Broad Street Line to Ellsworth-Federal and... More

On our first day in Philly we sought out the Reading terminal market for lunch, based on it's top rating on trip advisor. The food was good and we're glad we visited but we were blown away by the Italian market that we went to the following day. We strolled there from the Magic Garden and sampled some of the... More

Be sure to stroll down 9th Street and visit the vendors and shops. My favorites are Talluto's for the best fresh pasta in the city and DiBruno's House of cheese! You will find fresh ingredients for any meal on this strip.

From the best cannoli around to gourmet meats and cheeses, the Italian market will satisfy your craving for all things Italian. Our MUST stops are Esposito's Meats, DiBruno Bros, Fante's, Talluto's, Grassia's and without a doubt Isgro's for a cannoli.

The market is great for a walk. You can check alot of nice places. We stumbled upon a great vinegar and oil place and that was the highlight of the market. I recommend checking with the visitor center. They do have a lovely lady who can tell you all about the place, history, and gossip... and she has a wonderful... More

This was a fun experience on a Saturday. You walk down the street and all that you smell is the aroma of cheese. The meats at the market are so fresh and affordable. The produce, practically everything is a dollar. And so fresh.
