We very much enjoyed this tour - very informative and engaging. Added bits and pieces of history that I didn't know, which was truly refreshing. It's not a tour if you want to go into the buildings (and it's not sold as one). It offers a good overview of what happened in the Old City until a couple of years... More

Tour guide was excellent. Only 2 issues with the tour: 1) While this is a tour of Philadelphia, it would be nice to tie in the other Revolutionary history in to the content rather than acting like, for the most part, Philly was the only place where any Revolutionary activity took place. He did mention the Boston Tea Party once.... More

Really enjoyed the tour. Tried booking through phone but link didn't work, so turned up and there was no problem paying cash on the spot. I've been on similar historical tours in London, Boston etc and often there are gimmicks with guides wearing period dress, playing roles etc. In these tours, the gimmicks seem more important than the content. It... More

I personally couldn't recommend a better tour in Philly. The engagement and knowledge of the tour guide was outstanding. From questions related to the constitutional tour itself along with related topics about Philadelphia and fun facts made it very entertaining and interesting. There are a lot to do and see in Philadelphia, and I believe the constitutional tour provides a... More

We had a great tour guide, Jason. He was very informative of the area and historical suites. Was disappointed the tour didn't take us inside Independence Hall or the Liberty Bell. You can see the Liberty Bell fairly easilyrics, but have to get a separate ticket at visitor center with sethe tour time. You may have to wait around for... More

Thanks for your review. The tour is structured in such a way to give you a high level overview of the sites from the outside - an orientation to the area. Then many people will go back to the sites that interest them most and see them in more depth. Since many of the sites like the Liberty Bell and... More

It was a great way to see the important places and have a tour guide tell us fun facts and history. Especially for someone on their own and not wanting to tour alone. Nice pace, fun facts and a pleasant guide.

First the good: Van Jessica was the reason we went through with the tour. She was engaging, considerate, and knowledgeable. Her enthusiasm for the Philadelphia and it’s history made a long, hot walk fun. Now, the bad: finding the Constitutional Walking Tour is a needle-and-a-haystack game. We should’ve booked in advance—maybe there’s more information—but we didn’t know when or even... More

Thanks for taking the time to write a review of the tour. The tour meeting location and tour times (Monday thru Sat. at 10 AM, Noon and 2PM, and Sunday at 11 AM, 1 PM and 3PM) are clearly stated in several places on our web site. We also clearly state on the site that the tour meets "Directly outside... More

We had a great experience on this historical walking tour through the major sites in Old City Philadelphia. Our tour guide, Jason, was extremely knowledgeable and told us about the significance and history of these historical sites in such an interesting and informative way! Every question that was asked he was able to respond with an in depth answer without... More

This is a nice tour that will walk you around the main historical sites in Philadelphia and give you an introduction to the city and its colonial history. I recently did this tour with a group of Boy Scouts and we enjoyed it. You'll walk to many of the famous sites such as Independence Hall, the location where the First... More
