Ben Franklin was buried here in 1790 at 85 years of age. He is buried with his wife Deborah and his two children. The burial ground is a colonial and revolutionary era cemetery. which has many early patriots interred in it. It sits right off the Independence Mall. It’s easy to see from the sidewalk. I was thinking we weren’t going to see anything since the place was closed, but you can literally walk right up to it. There a gate that separates you but it’s still very clear and visible. Very very cool!

Easy to see. Right on the corner of the cemetery. We visited during a free tours by foot. It was very nice having a guide to teach you history and facts. I would recommend that.

The cemetery wasn’t opened, but I was able to view Benjamin Franklin’s final resting place, to pay respects.

I could only see it from the sidewalk because it was closed. I could not enjoy it well. On the wall there is info about the things Benjamin did, but I expected something better because of his legacy.
