On a whim last year we decided to go over and see if we could get tickets to a concert. I never knew they had "community" tickets for sale! What a great idea to get people to see a great orchestra and hear fantastic music....More

I have attended multiple shows at the Kimmel Center, all theaters. Verizon Hall, in particular is spectacular for any orchestra shows. Phenomenal acoustics. Academy of Music is great for any show. Ticket management is efficient and typically has ample windows open. The coat check down...More

There is no bad seat in the Perelman Theater. This is a small and intimate theater that has a great view of the stage all around. I've sat in the back and on the side and each view was great. You feel very connected to...More

The design of this venue is impressive, especially the main orchestra hall. The small theater seating leaves a bit to be desired on the upper floors, but a nice venue all the same.

We went to the 12/14 evening concert by the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Mendelssohn Choir of Philadelphia. Words cannot do justice to the event. The selection of music was varied but all appropriate. The Orchestra and Choir performed perfected. The messo-soprano was versatile and amazing,...More

We saw the Philly Pops Christmas show in Verizon Hall with our musically inclined 9 year old. It was amazing! The musicians, the choirs (3 very different ones in today's performance), two soloists, and the extremely entertaining conductor were beyond our expectations! Although it's difficult...More

The acoustic in the Kimmel Center is amazing. It is in the shape of a cello. The Philadelphia Orchestra directed by Yannick Nezet-Seguin gives wonderful concert. Joy to your ears.

To be honest...with a show like WICKED, you would want a full view of the stage. Not sure what areas of the stage you won't be able to see. Go online, view seating chart to see which areas are blocked. Good luck... More
