The Tin Angel is one of the classic American folk venues. A bowling alley of a room with tables scrunched together, a tiny stage, and bathrooms behind the stage it is a throwback to folk clubs of the 60s. It is a great place for performers to get to know fans and vice versa. It also has a great sound... More

Went here for a concert - loved the small venue feel - no matter where you were you had good sound and a good view of the stage.

We come to this venue every year when our favorite artists (Carrie Rodriguez and Luke Jacobs) are in town. Great show. The room is up a long flight of stairs, and the opening artist nearly put me to sleep with her repetitious droning, like Janis Ian in a deep depression! Much of the "seating" is standup or stools against a... More

We've attended about a half dozen shows here over the past 3 years, and, even though the seating can be a bit cramped, it is a great place to see an acoustic show. The sound has always been superb, the sight lines great, and gives off a very intimate feel. It is suggested that you make reservations for pre-show dinner... More

I know the subject line is harsh but I truly believe that. My wife and I attended a show on Valentines night and had pre-ordered the tickets (which were charged to my credit card). After dinner at Serrano’s we walked up to steps to enter the Tin Angel. The extremely surly young lady at the door indicated that “we were... More

Like to come here for the live performances. Food is good, but service is lagging. They really need to read a book about how to offer better service to paying customers.

We visited the Serrano prior to a show at the Arden. They have a nice selection of beers, and the service was very good. We ordered two appetizers, which were decent, but spending $14 for two and a half scallops and three sprigs of raw asparagus didn't seem like a great value. The figs wrapped in bacon were good, but... More

Tin Angel is a great place to see a show. It is an intimate venue where the performers are right there and interaction with the audience is comfortable and unforced. My wife and I saw David Ryan Harris there last night and, as always, he put on a great show. It never ceases to amaze me how many underrated artists... More

Great atmosphere, small yet cozy. Don puts on a great interactive show, great music, the whole place joined in singing and had a fun time. I highly reccomend!
