Morris is a treasured arboretum in the area and I like to go one or two times yearly. The holiday train show is fun for both adults and children. It's fairly expensive to enter and well worth the experience.

This extensive property is beautifully landscaped, with an education/welcome center, gift shop, and varied sections of woods and gardens. It is best enjoyed on foot (there is a trolley tour, but it is offered on a limited basis. Most of the property is easy to explore on a wide, flat, paved pathway. Within the gardens, however, there are steps with handrails,... More

Just steps away from Philadelphia you can retreat to nature in all its beauty. And for $16 per adult (for the day), it was well worth the price. My wife and I meandered through the gardens, looked out over the giant bird nest, and visited the awesome fern house. Everything was labeled, so it made for a wonderful learning experience.... More

I have been visiting Morris Arboretum for many years and it's an incredible place for anyone who loves trees, flowers, trains, beauty! Morris has a large variety of trees, shrubs, and flowering plants. During the fall and Christmas their trains run through delightfully landscaped miniature landscapes and past intricate replicas of famous Philadelphia landmarks. Morris is beautiful in every season.

Having been here several times, it is one of our favorite places when the weather is nice and we've got a few hours to kill.

We had a lovely afternoon walking through Morris Arboretum. The gardens, the sculptures, the yarn bombing, the swans, the trees, and the Thomas the Tank Engine model trail display were all very nice. I love swans so was so pleased to see the two they have swimming in the pond. I cannot wait to go back again to see the... More

We enjoy the mix of nature and fun activities for children. The trains and large nest in the tree house make the Arboretum a fun place for little ones, beautiful flowers and trees can be enjoyed by all ages!

This is a very fine place for a stroll around some gorgeous grounds. The rose garden is to die for. However, keep in mind, that unless things have changed any time soon, the facilities for just getting a quick cuppa or drink are awful. AWFUL. Did I say awful--well, awful. So be warned. Otherwise, all fantastic--the gift shop has lovely... More

This made for a great, relaxing afternoon. The sculptures are spread throughout the grounds, so you have to walk around to really see them all. There is a paved path around to make it wheelchair accessible, but some of the sculptures are off the main path. The model trains are great. They even have models of local and historical buildings...
