We just loved walking along this section of the Skuykill River as well as watching the regattas. A great sense of history and sport!

This area of Fairmont Park is truly beautiful. It can get crowded on race days, but if you can get there on any given day to peruse the beautiful architecture of the homes along the water, I recommend it. There is also a beautiful view...More

Great and interesting architecture. Walk along the river to the Museum. There is good food nearby in the Fairmount area (Fairmount Ave.) particularly La Calaca Feliz, if you like Mexican food.

Spend lots of time here watching my son row for his college. Between boathouse row and upriver on the Schuylkill, there are paths where you can walk, run, bike, etc. Bring a picnic lunch and relax. Can see center city Philly down river, the art...More

We ventured over to Boathouse Row on a Saturday morning from northwest Philadelphia. It was beautiful. There's a walking path along the river that was busy with walkers, runners and cyclists. The path extends all the way into the city. The views were top notch....More

I love Boathouse Row in any season and it is such an important part of the Philadelphia landscape scene. You can't really visit any of the houses, but there is a wonderful path to enjoy these icons!
