The gate is a photo op otherwise on a Saturday morning it was crowded and a bit overwhelming. As expected there are tons of restaurants, sweets stores, groceries, etc. too many to pick one out for lunch. Needed to see it and that was all we needed.

I like China town here but I think it needs two things -- cleaner streets and larger, cleaner grocery stores. Tried to shop for groceries on the last day of my trip but hard to find a clean one.
Chinatown has a lot of great food. You can literally find cuisine from every Asian country here, including Cambodian!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to China Town in Philadelphia, PA. We went on a Saturday morning. We found it not as crowded as we thought it would be. We found it very interesting to walk around and see the shops and the activity.....grocery store hussel and bussel, traffic, just all of it. We did find one souvenir shop open and we loved shopping and purchasing in that store. Covid precautions were in place, which we appreciated. We wore our masks. Most people on the street were wearing their masks, Thank you to those folks. Hand sanitizer was readily available and we were asked to use that in the shop when we went in. The arch it beautiful. When in Philly you need to go visit here. LOTS of great restaurants!!

Apart from that, there are a lot of what seem to be authentic Asian eateries and markets in the neighborhood if you are into that.

Markets, restaurants live fish, lobster, crabs, exotic fruits. All of this is what you can see in China town. Lots of different restaurants to chose from. We chose Daves tonight and the food was awesome!

This is a good in between Chinatown- nothing like New York or San Francisco, but some good restaurants and shops. Very small- don’t need much time to visit. Close to Reading Terminal market.

this is a small parallel society filled with asian style shops, people, sounds and smells. Hallo kitty, peking ducks and bubble tea are the main products you will find. it is interesting, full of living, funny and absolutly a fun place to visit.

I like this China town much more than I like the one in DC. In DC the China town is so small that you run out of stores and options after walking for 4 blocks. This China town actually is large and has so many different choices. There is a Burmese restaurant, several Vietnamese restaurants and lots and lots of Chinese restaurants. If you like to shop for Asian grocery, then there is also a crowded grocery store on 10th and Cherry. Not to miss. You can easily spend an afternoon here.

My sister and I went through China Town on our way to Reading Market. The friendship gate is opulent and beautiful.
The street itself has a variety of shops and restaurants to chose from.

This is the place we love to come for Chinese food, lots of fun and inexpensive dinners out. The traditional Chinese neighborhood.

Hi we are looking for a good restaurant to go to on New Year's Day for dinner. We like a variety of Asian food but also some regular Chinese. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated
