Beautiful Building

We took the train from the airport to the amtrak station and it was very easy to find our way. The seats were comfortable and information was readily available.

From the man working at the ticket counter who mocked my accent (incorrectly I may add, I'm South African, not British), to the two cops who couldn't make up their minds as to what their job actually was this whole experience was a dissapointment. This was my husband's first time in the States and after a day of walking Philly... More

Impressive entrance and well laid out . Great food court . The station itself is place to see especially if you traveled by rail road. The name 30th street station sounds bit ordinary, should have been called as Union Station or something of that sort,

Unlike NYC's Penn Station, the 30th Street Station is easy to locate your track number, track and any other info you require. The old wooden benches are comfortable and will remind you of a less stressful era of the past. The station is nicely laid out and has several food concessions to choose. The restrooms are clean and plenty. The... More

This major terminal is much easier to find services and make connections than NYC Penn and Grand Central.

This station was built for the ear of Railroad Travel. I is majestic with high ceilings, marble, granite and a memorial to War Veterans who worked for the Railroad Company. This is not a destination for food (think station in Washington DC) but an attempt has been made to have an outdoor cafe and summer pop-ups. Decent places to grab... More

I travel quite a bit through here for work and occasionally stop through just because I like the place. Its very open and bright all the time, day or night. There is something about the openness and muffled sound that travels throughout that makes it sort of peaceful and relaxing. The station is very safe and has alot of PD... More

If you are travelling anywhere you need to start here. The local & national rail service is highly organised & very easy to use - plenty of very helpful staff & volunteers - trains are on time (except during the Septa strike!).
