- RCGPR1981Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico4 contributionsWhole view is the cityThis was my favorite moment in our visit to Central City, Philadelphia. The view is amazing, the guide, I think his name is Gale, gave us a lot of information of sites we could visit in that day. He recommended places to visit for eating, and historical sites. We bought the tickets online and we saved a little on the purchase. Overall it’s a must visit location. Thanks so much for the nice review. We're so happy you enjoyed the views and your tour. No one knew if it is open. The web site says that it is closed, but later said it was open. We called the phone number on the web site, and the number is disconnected

Amazing sight to come check and see Philly from high up. Jim was super helpful for a quick tour and even recommended cool spots in the area to go see!

The idea is great, and I love observation decks. But covid makes everyone so stressed out and angry. So try telling young children to not run or yell or climb the railings. Then also to put their mask over their nose and don’t get so close to the other people. And if you think you could maybe ease up on the poor kids because there are no people at all up there with you, forget it. The staff are more than happy to point out that your kids aren’t being perfect. In a completely empty observation deck. So yeah. Not worth it.

Came here just to fill time before checking in. The views were nice but it’s a bit boring once you walk around half of it. Went during covid so social distancing is a thing, and they are being cautious of that even during the elevator ride up. Would I go again, no.

We preordered online and saved a few dollars. Everything was very clean and fairly empty. We were the only people up on the observation deck when we got there, and had it to ourselves for a good 20 minutes. Easily able to stay socially distant.
Views all around were really impressive. We've been to decks like this in Boston, NYC, Vegas and Niagara Falls, so for me I can take it or leave it. My husband and our daughter like them though, which is why I went. Plus, it was 94 degrees out, AND a lot of things were closed due to Covid, so we had some extra time in our itinerary.
Bathrooms and a soda machine on the top deck, as well as chairs and tables throughout the area. Cute gift shop upon exiting. We entered one way from the street, and exiting the opposite direction, into the mall (where there was a Bloomingdale's outlet, which was nice!)

We were in Philly for the Flower Show and we wanted to see the entire city from above. It wasn’t busy at all and you really got some great views. Wish we could have stayed until sunset. We enjoyed all the extra info that Philly Phred gave us!

We enjoyed this experience with our 11&13 yr old granddaughters last week, arriving in late afternoon to watch the sun go down and the city lights come up! Jim, our tour guide, provided great information about the city, with suggestions for special sights we'll enjoy on future trips. The game boards set up around the perimeter provided unexpected fun ~ a delightful way to spend our early evening in the city!

We’ll be there during the Pink Invitational February 22-23, while I’m sure it will be quite busy does everyone get a chance to take pictures of the view unobstructed by other viewers? My daughter is a gymnast coming in for the meet and we’d love a posed shot...(already bought our 2day tickets)... 😊 is there a best time to come?

There will be plenty of space to move around on the 57th floor. The best time to come for the view is at sunset. The best time to come to avoid lines is earlier in the morning.

Any suggestions for parking to be able to hit both the liberty bell and the observation deck in one stop?

We will be in there Monday June 18. Probably around 6:30-7:00 in the evening. Are timed tickets advisable?? Can you buy timed tickets online? And where?? The Philly From the Top website doesn't say anything about timed tickets. They just sell regular tickets

Hi there. We do not currently have timed tickets.

If I purchase a ticket from TripAdvisor, can we enter at any time or are there specific times? When purchasing the tickets, it isn't prompting for a time as it does on the web site for the Observation Deck.

When we were there you can go up anytime unless it's at full capacity it's just a big observation room with Windows tables and chairs so if people just sit up there you have to wait for some to leave
