Love doing hikes with our kids. The reservation has vast opportunities for the kids to ask questions which becomes a family project to find the answers often leading to future science projects

South Mountain reservation is a beautiful Oasis in Essex County New Jersey. The main street through the reservation is a lovely curving road that is very scenic. There's lots of great hiking trails and places to explore.
