Including the bus driver who drove us from the visitor center parking lot to the house, we had three guides. Each one was friendly and informative. The tour inside the house was for the most part self guided after the initial lecture, which was great. The guide was there for any questions. The house is 98% accurate as when Mamie... More

We loved the Eisenhower farm. What a great experience seeing inside a former president's home after the White House. It must have been a great place to spend your golden years.

One thing though you have to purchase tickets at the Gettysburg Battle Visitors Center and take a bus from that location to the farm since that is the only... More

My husband and I toured the Eisenhower National Historic Site. The tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable. The homestead was beautifully maintained. I was expecting something palatial, but the rooms themselves, except for the formal parlor, were small and homey, a nice place to visit. There were lots of memorabilia regarding General Eisenhower's military experience, but seeing the modest house... More

This was a great experience from start to finish. The bus from the visitor center was a nice ride explaining some back ground in the way. The 1st tour guide was great & very knowledgeable of the grounds. The tour guide inside the main house was great. He did a great job explaining about the contents of the main house.... More

It has always been very interesting to visit the homes of former presidents, as it helps create a clearer picture of who they were as people. Eisenhower's home is no exception. His was not a flashy lifestyle, and his home reflects the interests and pleasures of a military/political family during the the middle 20th century. Although children may find it... More

My parents took me here several times when I was younger and I have visited three times this past year because I am really interested in the Civil War. I realized I have never been to President Eisenhower's home. I decided... More

What a wonderful tour this is! Lessons in history, sociology, politics, military history, farming, diplomacy and government all in one place! You can walk right into the Eisenhower's home and feel like they will be standing just around the corner. We enjoyed every moment!

Thank Nancy W
