The “Ghosts of Gettysburg Tours” are best described as a combination of history and mystery. The battle that took place in Gettysburg was horrific. We do our best to treat the men who gave their lives with the respect they deserve. We use ghost stories, as relayed to Mr. Nesbitt by those who have experienced them, to explore what happened here. Anyone can make up a scary ghost story, but somehow, knowing that people experienced the ghostly happenings that our guides describe, has to make one wonder if an encounter is in your own future! Our tours include as much of the town as can be walked comfortably. The buildings in Gettysburg are all privately owned, but from what we've been told, just as many ghosts are wandering the streets as are hanging out within four walls! If you're looking for a "halloween haunted house" kind of experience, this is not the tour for you!

Restricted primarily to Baltimore Street but still plenty to see and hear. We took two different ghost tours. The other was more history than ghosts. This was a nice blend of history and paranormal stores. An easy hour to hour and a half. The owner of the company is a well known author of Gettysburg paranormal so its not a... More

This was a decent tour. Our tour guide was very animated and knowledgeable about the area, which was the best part - I think his name was Steve! It's worth the price (10-11$) but I wasn't overly impressed with the tour itself. Definitely check it out for yourself though!

My partner arranged this tour for me. We arrived late to Gettysburg that night and thought it would be a good chance to walk around a bit and find out some history. We did get to meet the author which was nice. They'd overbooked so they had two tours going out that day. This caused issues as our guide had... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the candlelight walk with our guide and storyteller, Ray. He was such a delight and full of historical knowledge. We learned some very interesting facts about the town and, of course, heard some fascinating ghost stories!

This was a really fun tour. Our tour guide Joe was quite the character and made it a very fun as well as informative tour. He gave us some interesting history of the area in addition to some spooky ghost stories. Joe is a really great storyteller and could have easily doubled the time of the tour which is already... Our guide's name was Rich and he was amazing! He is dressed in period clothing and carried a lantern. Our group was small, which was definitely to our benefit. It was nice and intimate and we were able to keep close to our guide and hear everything. The tour is based on the books, which I am a huge fan... More

Our guide Bill, dressed in period clothing, was very informative. The tour walk is an easy walk, maybe a mile of flat walking . Many interesting stories as we stopped along the way at various points of interest. No ghosts, but we had a great time

We all thought that our tour guide and story teller, Annie, was a great story teller. She asked a few questions at the start to tailor her stories to the group. The walk was about a mile through town and stopped here and there to tell of the history and of course ghosts. There are a few hot spots in... More

My husband and I enjoyed this tour. Our guide Nancy was an excellent storyteller and did a great job keeping things interesting. She even handed out candy part way through the tour and was hung around afterwards to chat and answer questions. It was a fun way to spend a Friday night, learning about Gettysburg's history and being entertained by... More
