Over many years I have been to everything in Gettysburg but never to this museum. As seniors we paid $5.50 each which was about the 'value'. inside. I felt it was nice but nothing grand. Two period rooms and 2 videos were best part. Rest...More

This historic home is worth the short hour or so it will take you to self-guided tour it. Restoration is impressive. Exhibits give sense of how it was for the residents of Gettysburg, something we did not see elsewhere.

This is another beautifully maintained/restored home from the time. President Lincoln stayed here. Visit early.

This house is definitely worth a visit if you are in Gettysburg. They have done a remarkable job in restoring this house to its condition in November of 1863. The rooms contain many period pieces. What is nice is that you can stroll through the...More

As others who have written poor reviews of this place have stated, it's not worth it! Everything is "modern", even the outside of the building. The entire "self guided tour" took all of 10 minutes. The free museums right up the street were much better.

This was where Lincoln stayed before giving his Gettysburg Address. They have the original bed and bedspread he slept in. Also very detailed information about Wills, the dedication of the National Cemetery, and details about the three day battle. Tickets for adults $6 I believe.

Well laid out museum run by the National Park Service. Exhibits have been well researched and it is interesting to see where Lincoln slept before he gave the address at Gettysburg (the bed seemed a little short for such a tall man). I particularly enjoyed...More

Interesting home where Lincoln stayed the night before his address. Was much more impressed by the accomplishments of Willis after the war in getting the cemetery started.

The David Wills house is where Lincoln spend the night before delivering the Gettysburg Address. The bedroom where Lincoln stayed has been beautifully preserved and the audio in the room sets the right tone to take you back with the president before his historic speech....More

If you really want to read, see, and listen to everything the museum has to offer, I would say 11/2 to 2 hours.
