The Museum covers all areas of American History. Military and Political History are the focus with some pop culture covered. Some highlights include: A lock of George and Martha Washington's hair, Abraham Lincoln's wallet and opera glasses,John Wilkes Booth's splint relic, the largest collection of Gettysburg battlefield relics on display in Gettysburg, an autograph or manuscript from each president, Harry Truman's hat, Dwight D. Eisenhower's golf clubs, JFK's rocking chair, suit, and bloodstained limousine upholstery from the assassination, the flag that flew during the attack on Pearl Harbor, Shell casing from Ruby's gun that Killed Oswald, Hitler's silver that was captured by U.S. forces at his home. The Fredrick G. Pfeffer collection of relics from Pickett's Charge. The Robert L. White collection of JFK, The Captain Good collection (wounded in action at Gettysburg) includes the items he used during the battle and the bullet that wounded him! This place was a walk through history! It had a variety of things that including artifacts, and actual personal items. If you are in Gettysburg and are a history person this place is the place to go!

I was in awe when I saw the collection of relics and historical items in this museum. I am still raving about it to my friends. This museum has something for everyone. The place was full of great old stuff and was like museums use to be. I think this guy was on American Pickers. Go to see for yourself.

First off the items in the museum is incredible. I was in awe with the amount of historical items about Gettysburg and not about Gettysburg. This is a MUST STOP. Privately ran and funded. This place has rare artifacts and relics from The Civil War through WWII.

The street side view of the museum does not give credit to the amazing historical jewels inside!!! Amazing artifact from not only the Civil war but WW I & WW II... it's a must see!!!

If you are a history buff,definitely go to this place! It has artifacts from all wars,not just gettysburg. Info on JFK,Hitler,ww1 ,ww2, on up to 9/11. It even has lingerie from Marilyn Monroe and Eva Braun! It would take hours to go thru all rooms and see all items. They even have items up for sale. Loved this place!

nice small museum not all about the Civil War. Other conflicts included along with historical personnel such as Kennedy, Johnson. Curator very helpful.

This museum features collections ranging from the Civil War at Gettysburg to the Cold War of the 1960's. A fascinating display of wartime artifacts!

This small FREE privately owned museum has wonderful displays of artifacts, uniforms, weapons and other memorabilia from the Civil War, WWI, WWII and other eras. It's well organized with fascinating items to view in each room. Any history buff will be glad they stopped by. It's located in the heart of downtown Gettysburg. The owners have certain items for sale... More
