Lincoln walked here

This museum is small but helps visitors visualize Lincoln's visit to Gettysburg, as it was here that his train stopped, and he walked up the street to the David Wills house.

This stop is a little out of the way and you would miss it if you aren't looking. They have really cool displays of what the ticket office used to look like, the trains still run through here, and they do historic train rides as well

The history of the building was very interesting. I really enjoyed the little model & the story of Lincoln's arrival; learning about the difference in the railroad tracks. The staff was very informative & friendly. I even picked up a couple souvenir's!

Be sure to get your Passport Stamp while here. This is not a large place so you can learn a lot in a short time. Just around the corner from David Wills House.

Bonnie, who works for the National Park Service, recommended the Railroad Station as well as David Wills house. They were both worth the visit.

Small, but very nice people in there. Nice place to take some outdoor pictures and get information about the area.

The railroad station museum is a must stop for any history buff. It doesn't matter if it's Rail road history, Civil War history or a love of historic buildings this station is well worth stopping at. You're also at the center of town where the confederate flag was raised for a short period of time during the battle of Gettysburg,... More

We had time to kill before our hotel room was ready so we decided to head right down the block to this Museum. It is free but donations are greatly appreciated. Chalked full of history it was awesome to step back into time visiting this historic railroad station. The staff was so kind and I think we stayed an extra... More

Stopped here so our 14 year old granddaughter could see where President Lincoln arrived. It's free and has a nice large model of the station as you enter. You can view the exhibits in 30 minutes or so and then pick up a little coupon book for Gettysburg!
