Great place for kids and families whether local or just visiting Gettysburg. There are so many fun learning experiences for the entire family. Great staff and great little store that has a lot of educational toys as well. Perfect place for a rainy day outing in Gettysburg with the kids.

Went with some friends and their 5 year old son. The activities were fun for all of us, the space is small and we were lucky that it wasn't crowded. The admission was only about $8/adult and the woman running it was amazing and very patient.

We visited this museum with grandchildren ranging from 5 - 7 years of age. They loved it. Our grandchildren love to do pretend, so they thoroughly enjoyed the big "cabin" room. They also really enjoyed the "art" room, which had so very many options. There were also so many other activities like the water, puppets, etc. that were fun. The... More

We went to this museum with kids ranging from 2-7 years old, and it was engaging and fun for all of them! It is not a big museum, but each room of the museum has a lot of different things to explore. The art room has tons of materials to create glue, paint, and crafty master pieces! There are areas... More

Explore and More is a reasonably-priced children's museum that is a play house of sorts--you can move between rooms in the repurposed home and explore a construction/factory play area, art areas, dress up areas, an imaginative play home, and several science exploration stations. There is a small gift shop attached. Walkable from Lincoln Square and many "in town" hotels and... More

Explore and More is aptly named. Our grandchildren really enjoyed all the fun things they offer. A great place to take children, especially if the weather isn't suitable to be outside. We were there earlier with our grandchildren and I gave a gift to the parents of 4 children recently.

My 3-year-old daughter and I decided to make the trek to Explore and More yesterday. Despite the long drive, it was absolutely worth it! I had initially heard some lukewarm reviews about the place, so I went in skeptically; however, after talking to one of the owners (a former preschool teacher) and spending 2 hours there, I was hooked! The... More

I have been bringing young children to Explore and More every summer for over 16 years now. Each year it is loads of fun. I would recommend this highly to anyone with young kids. The two ladies that run this are top-notch former teachers who know learning and fun are linked directly together. Plan to spend at least three hours... More

My 4 yo loved E & M and I loved watching her explore new things and ideas. There is something to do on every inch of this house. There is a science room, art room, industrial/factory play, lights and 1862 dress up and full kitchen play area. Endless activities to keep your child's imagination going!
