We decided to rent bikes for 2 hours to ride around the main points of the battlefield. We did not join a bike tour, just peddled around with the use of the map we were provided at the bike stand. They gave us some great tips and we made really great use of the bikes. It made it so much... More

My husband and I did this trip on a very hot day but so enjoyed it. A must if you really want to see and understand where the battles took place over the three days. Guide was very good. There are quite a few hills so we were glad we had our own bikes. Highly recommend.

It was three plus hours and very little stopping, but we covered an amazing amount of ground & learned so much from our guide Bob (& owner) . He met us after a full day of teaching high school history & was ready to give us an animated & energetic tour of all the battlefields on a April afternoon that... More

Most people tour the Gettysburg Battlefield by bus or car, both of which are fine, but to really get a closeup look and feel for the park, there is nothing like this bike tour. Our specially certified tour guide (Bruce) was knowledgeable, interesting and personable and seeing most of the important areas of the park was doable on the 4-hour... More

I've been to Gettysburg several times and taken several custom tours, including an all-day bicycle tour when I was a junior Army officer, and a week-long Gettysburg leadership course two years ago. My husband is a history buff and has read several books on Gettysburg and had been once before. We knew a bit about the battle already. We took... More

My husband and our friends (another couple) who are in our mid 50's did this tour on a very hot day in July. Our tour guide, and also the owner of this business did a tremendous job of keeping us in the shade whenever possible while offering a very detailed and keenly thought out commentary to one of the bloodiest... My husband and our kids (ages 15 and 11) did the Gettysbike tour which was about 3 1/2 hours long. I was a bit concerned as I had not ridden a bike in at least 20 years, but the bikes are easy to use, they give you good instructions and some time to get used to your bike, and while... More

My husband and I ended up on the tour by ourselves with our guide, Bruce. He tailored our tour to our interests and made it very informative and fun. Great way to tour the battlefields.

We lucked out and had a tour with just our family! Bruce was our tour guide, he was fantastic!! We were out about 3 hours, one tough hill. I walked 1/2 if it and my husband and son biked the whole time. Being lots of water if it's a hot day because you will be in the sun most of... More
