When the Confederate sharpshooters stationed themselves amongst the boulders, they fired across to Little Round Top. It's quite a distance, and amazingly, they killed some important Union officers from this distance with these older riflesp. Great spot for pictures. Getting a picture of the sun...More

We didn't spend too much time here as it was mostly just a lot of big rocks. However it was very easy to get to by car and I was glad I got to see it.

i know the park closes at 10 pm. I do believe it opened at 6am.

No, but I highly advise getting a guide or even buying the DIY CD you put in your car.
