The Jacksonville Zoo is a great place for kids of all ages. I think the activities for the kids give grandparents a great opportunity to play and share and enjoy all at once.

We hadn’t been to the zoo in 20 years, and decided to go this week. It certainly has changed, and greatly improved from the last time we were there. Wonderful exhibits showcase the variety of animals, snakes, birds and frogs they have. The Ape exhibit...More

This is a great zoo with something for everyone. The staff is informed and friendly. The exhibits look interesting and comfortable for the animals. They have a veterinary hospital on site as well as educational rooms, a water and play area for kids. Carousel and...More

Went with my son and his family from Georgia. Had a great time! They thought it was much better than the Atlanta Zoo. I agree.

Great time. As always the kids loved it. They were a little disappointed that the ape exhibit was closed for remodeling.

I visit the zoo all the time. Young children really love the train, hummingbird exhibit and stingray petting pond. Also love the Halloween nights at the zoo. Fun for all.

Three of the granddaughters were very young but the 3 oldest 2 granddaughters and 1 grandson had a blast!! I think their favorite was the elephants as they put on a little show for them! And the giraffes had a little run!!

I am an annual pass holder and have been for years. The Jacksonville Zoo has so many educational settings for children and adults as well. The zoo is clean and the employees are very nice.

I agree with everyone...for the most part there is little no zero wait time to purchase tickets. If you are going to upgrade and get season passes (worked out VERY well for my family) it takes about 15 minutes to do all the... More

We've been on a day with no crowds and saw 'everything' in 4 hours. We have a tendency to stop at exhibits and observe for a few minutes instead of just blowing past with a cursory look. If there are large crowds or field... More
