If you don't like heights, take the ferry! Sweeping views of the Columbia River - amazed me on how high you get!

Pictures don't really give you an idea of how massive and tall this bridge is. Imagine in its day of construction the amount of time it took them compared to what it would take today with today's technology. If you are into archaeological building of past generations, check this historic bridge out in Astoria OR

This is a big bridge put up in a difficult place. It doesn't charge a toll so there is no reason not to go over. Watch the seagulls race your vehicle.

Can't complain because the bridge held our weight and we made it across without issue. Nice views at the top.

If you are afraid of heights, this is not for you. The steep approach starts off with a dizzying corkscrew of an on ramp which makes a full 360° loop in order to attain the necessary elevation for the main span without taking up a mile of real estate. It continues on at about 200 feet above the water to... More

I was totally afraid to cross the bridge at first. It is super cool looking. Once you are on it you can relax. It doesn't feel like an old bridge. I loved the view.

This bridge it definitely a site to see, but if you are planning to drive over it, be prepared! It is long, high, and pretty scary! I am not a fan of heights or bridges and I am shocked I was able to drive over this thing. I felt pretty terrified doing so and made my girlfriend drive back so... More

This beautiful bridge connects Washington and Oregon high above the Columbia River. What a thrill driving into Oregon for the first time! Outstanding views from the bridge! A great beginning to a perfect Oregon seacoast vacation!
