Boy am I glad to have gone to "The World Famous Lexington Market Since 1782" the other day. Found a clean facility, friendly people, most were African Americans and friendly, with all kinds of delicious and scrumptious fare in the market. Prices were about the...More

We walked to the N. Paca street entrance. We were actually looking to eat at Faidley's, but they were on vacation. I was disappointed. It was a Tuesday and we were the only tourists in the market, which is fine, but it's definitely a locals...More

Hi, Well, we went to the Lexington Market because we saw it on the Travel channel. Disappointing. It is really only one floor. We went to Fraiely's Seafood, which was more hype and picture taking than good food. However, we did come across great deli...More

I've heard people talk about it having been nicer in the past. I've been told that there is some petty crime. It probably exists, though if you look at the stats in Baltimore you will find that the pickpockets actually hit the tourist areas. And...More

Had the privilege of touring Lexington Market on Friday, August 4 while visiting with family in Owings Mills, MD. The location is in the heart of Baltimore's urban district which could be unappealing to some, but I found it to be intriguing and very interesting....More

We went to the market in the morning. It has a friendly atmosphere and a lot of food choices. The toughest part of the visit was deciding what to get to eat. We will put this on our "must do" list for future visits to...More

Like many said, it's downright dangerous to be honest. I've been going for 50 years. Don't walk there... drive or take a cab. Don't wear any jewelry or flash any cash there. Why Baltimore allows that place to be heroin heaven I'll never know. The...More
