This was the third time we have been here. We had purchased a family membership at the COSI museum when we were in Columbus, OH last week so we only had to pay for one admission while four were allowed in for free which saved...More

We love the Science Center. It's not as big or fancy as the one in Boston (which is my gold standard), but it's got wonderful permanent exhibits and usually very interesting temporary ones. Great for when it's too hot to be outside. We did summer...More

Take your children and let them experience the wonders of the Maryland Science center and learn about things they don't see everyday.

This is a good museum for children - I'd say toddler, preschool and elementary aged would be the target population. There are many hands-on exhibits, and they cover a multitude of scientific concepts from dinosaurs to space exploration. I would say that by far the...More

Yes, many times there is an exhibit or two that is broken, but overall the kids love the Science Center. Usually you can do most of the museum in one day. My 6 year old loves the dinosaur exhibit, while my 9 year old cannot...More

We were here on a Tuesday afternoon and it was not very crowded so we could enjoy the museum without feeling rushed. Love that there are so many hands-on exhibits!

Great location and a WIDE variety of science for any kids. Everything from dinosaurs to micro biology. Plenty of hands-on things to do as science is presented in a very approachable manner. Well done.

I took my almost 4 year old here today. He had a great time. We spent a lot of time in the Kids Room. That kept him busy for quite a while. We also went to a few other sections of the museum, including the...More

My kids were 7 and 10 when we went and they both had fun. I didn't find this science center to be as interactive as others that we have been to around the country but the kids still enjoyed it. Unless your boys are very... More
