The church wasn’t open for tours on the day we went, but were able to walk the grounds. As a Poe fan this was an exciting stop for me. The old cemetery is lovely and signs throughout the cemetery provide information about some of its...More

Attended a wedding in the hall & was treated to the tour of the catacombs. The hall is an awesome venue. The catacombs tour was fascinating. Lots of Baltimore history & interesting info. Not to be missed!

My curiosity got the best of me as I walked down Fayette Street upon the site. Poe's Memorial was right there at the entrance, and I was drawn in. It was well after dark, and I found myself wandering through a cemetery! A CEMETERY! I...More

If you are a fan of Edgar Allan Poe, you should visit this cemetery. There are other members of his family there too.

We stopped by just to see Poe's graves (old and new) and were impressed by the rest of the little cemetery as well. It is old, tight, and cool. It isn't very big, but it holds a lot of interesting graves. Worth a stop, especially...More

The cemetery made me feel as if I stepped back in time. It was bathed in culture and was informative. It is the final resting place of Edgar Allan Poe and many others.

It's your typical cemetery, nothing particularly special except for Edgar Allen Poe's grave. Maybe some other famous people are buried here, but mostly if you go, just go for a few minutes and look around.
