Very Interesting place to visit. Had a chance to see the Preakness Stakes here many years ago. Well worth going to.

The whole inside area was very outdated and badly maintained. The track was in a sketchy area that made me nervous to drive through. The only plus is that the employees were pretty nice and there was a room where you could see all the horses that were running.

If you like racing and you can get to Pimlico, then go. A historic track, home to the Preakness. There are other dates for live racing. The track does need a little work but if you're winning money do you care if the tiles are a bit colored. The Sports Palace is nice. Makes for a great day of entertainment.

My first reaction was pure shock as this race course looked like any county fairgrounds in the south. It is very old, worn down. However, even in the rain we enjoyed our very first Preakness. Every aspect of this track needs to be replaced, it appears poorly managed. Vendor lines were poorly stocked, and service time is slow. But if... More

The second leg of racing's Triple Crown is held at Pimlico Race Course. As such,it is a most prestigious race. Pimlico Race Course, often referred to as "Old Hilltop," hosts the event. The racetrack is old and outdated, with few capital improvements in recent decades. Yes,it has its "charm" and some "shabby chic" elements to it,but the facility itself needs a major... More

Pimlico race track has the potential to be a throw back race track of the last century. Home to the Preakness (second race in triple crown) it has the excitement to be a top notch experience. I came for the 141st running of the Preakness. One would think hosting such a prestigious event might motivate to do the spring cleaning.... More

Paid $98 each for a covered seat for the Preakness. Thought it was a bit pricey but then again it was the Preakness. We couldn't sit in our seats due to the fact that there were no TV's or boards **visible** to provide information (i.e., Minutes to Post; Current/Post Time; Odds; Scratches, etc). Our seats were next to a pass-through... More

We went to Pimlico for another Preakness event. We were in the upper reserved seating section. I can honestly say it was a highlight event and experience. The people around you get into the whole of it all and we really had a wonderful time. I have heard that next year could be the last time at Pimlico so for... More

Whoever runs this race track should be ashamed. Garbage everywhere, horrible crowd control, untrained staff, disgusting food (that, in spite of it's grossness actually ran out well before the big race began). The organizer should be fired! This is a prestigious race with great history behind it. If the organizer is going broke I can easily see why, they don't... More

A great American sporting event, 142st edition was chaotic. Neither the security guards nor the city police force on hand knew what they were doing. Having a disability I was forced on race day to walk with my cane about 2-miles through broken concrete and muddy fields and no one seemed to care, from the $65 parking lot. Signs were... More
