My husband and I decided to go on the Black Eyes Susan's murder mystery dinner cruise. The boat was an authentic paddle boat which was nice. The food for the price was just OK especially the crab cakes since we were in the heart of crab country. A table mate of ours was vegetarian and for the same price gave... More

I have been on the Black Eyed Susan dinner boat for several public cruises. We have been to The New Year’s Eve Fireworks cruise the last 2 years, which had a great DJ and dancing on the upper level, the Captain gave us a good view of the Fireworks display. We also have been to 2 of the 4th of... More

This was an absolute waste of time and money! The whole experience was atrocious. A group of 11 of us attended this monstrosity. The execution is horrible. The actors are shouting over the whole ship, you can barely hear what they are saying. You can notice there are speakers on the ship-- how about utilize them?? Demand a presence? The... More

Looking like a Show Boat out of the MGM movie of the same name, my wife and I accompanied by another couple (dear friends and fellow boomers) took the Black Eyed Susan New Year's Eve dinner cruise and was so pleasantly surprised at the very first rate nature of this experience. The buffet (invited by table and served by the... More

We loved the idea of having a buffet cruise and then watching the fireworks on the water in the Inner Harbor. We weren't disappointed. The food was very good and there was variety. After eating we went out on deck, met new people and waited for the fireworks. After the fireworks we went downstairs and there was dessert and coffee... More

Sixteen of us traveled up to Baltimore for a fun Murder Mystery Cruise on the Inner Harbor. The Black Eyed Susan was a nice size unlike many gargantuan dinner boats in other cities. We sat at round tables for 8 which were perfect for conversation The staff was outstanding. They circulated among the tables serving hot aud'hoeuvres. When a couple... More

A few days prior to the start of Baltimore`s commemoration of the bicentennial of the War of 1812, which was to include visits by quite a few "Tall Ships" from all over the world, I spotted an advertisement for the Black Eyed Susan`s dinner cruise (crab cakes!) into Baltimore`s Inner Harbor. It sounded terrific, was most reasonably priced but the... More

This was a unique experience! H'orderves were served upon arrival, they were good but slow in coming, followed by a seated dinner consisting of a crabcake (not too good) and filet mignon (2 small pieces-medium/med rare), broccoli, and mashed potatoes with an oven crispy warm dinner roll. A cash bar was available with a good selection of drinks. The play... More
