I found this place is the heart of Baltimore and center of most of the beauty, fun and enjoyments. Besides beautiful view this is a well maintained place lots of arrangements for recreations, including old ships, yacht, water taxi, etc.

For a memorable 2 hour stroll around historic Baltimore, take a self-guided 1.5 mile walk from Inner Harbor to Harbor East to funky Fells Point. Pick up the Heritage Walk guide ($5) at the Visitor's Center and choose the stops that interest you. We explored downtown, the Seven Ft Knoll Lighthouse(free) and Little Italy. The Katyn Polish War Memorial by... More

It's very much set up to attract tourists, but even if you live in the area it is worth the stop because it is beautiful and lovely to walk around and explore what the city has to offer. There's plenty of things to do and see in the area: the ships, aquarium, lighthouse, Trade Center, and several museums and restaurants.

This could be the finishing touch being provided: The Harbor East district! What's going up? The Four Seasons Hotel Complex, Landmark Cinemas, the new Legg Mason Tower and a new section under construction called the Harbor Point! Next thing tourists will discover is the possibility of PEDESTRIAN BRIDGES from Harbor East to Federal Hill! It's crazy enough the international tall... More

Our guide Andy was very knowledgeable about the Harbor area. We took the walk so we could go on the back street areas. We picked this tour up at the visitors center and the senior price was very reasonable. So many places to see and great source of information. One piece of info, many of the museums are closed on... We planned to do a group walking tour of the Heritage Walk on Sunday 10/16/16 and it ended up being a private tour with Monty P. since we were the only ones on it. Great value for $10. Monty was very knowledgeable and engaging. Obviously he knew his stuff. He also went out of his way to help recover a... More

Good source for finding local brochures. Very impersonal visitor"s center! No personal ambassadors to greet or assist (even though there evidently are some staff around). If you are expecting a warm, helpful center and enthusiastic assistance, forget it! Appealing building design is the most positive attribute.

Since you are reading my review then you obviously know your way around trip advisor. Stick to trip advisor you will find more helpful info. You would think that if you come here they would offer more info. Yes there are nice brochures, but the staff was not very helpful or informative. They will give you info but you have... More
