Our son went here, so we have a bond with the university, but we are from the west coast so when I saw this university the first time I loved the colonial architecture. We are lucky enough to have a son who belongs to the Hopkins Club so we have dinner at the club on campus in a beautiful old... More

This university gives a real college feeling. I spent only 4 months of my PhD here but yet I loved it. I admire the buildings and the campus, the friendliness of everyone and the quality of the teaching. The neighborhood is a bit dangerous, so better to take escort shuttles after dark but during the day perfect place to chillout.

This historic campus has a park like feel, with some of the most beautiful stain glass windows you'll ever see, that's not in a church.

We attended a lacrosse event at Homewood Field. The field is beautifully maintained. The staff (students volunteering their time) were very nice and welcoming. Bathrooms were clean and conveniently located on the 50 yrd line on both sides of stadium. We did not get a chance to walk around campus, unfortunately. There were options for both street parking and a... More

Absolutely what you'd expect from a Top Rated School. Clean, Well Maintained and quite impressive, so is the tuition, Lol.

We wanted to check out the university as it is so famous. As a plain tourist there's nothing to see, and it's super difficult to find your way around on the campus.

If you like looking at colonial, gothic victorian, and art nouveau architecture and interior design this is the area to be in to browse through. From the peabody institute library to the cathedral and just the surrounding buildings.

High time college kids in USA get exposure to major city living but within a pleasant environment. JHU Homewood campus provides that with aplomb. Leafy colonial campus but only a free shuttle ride away from a tough city with great history and grit. Also an easy 45 minute train ride away from DC where another JHU campus is also located....
