Spent several days at the Chateau in Nemacolin recently with my wife. Played golf 3 times on mystic rock and once at Shepherds.
Both courses exceptional. I favor Mystic because it is in phenomenal condition and difficult, but fair.

This is a fun course to play and is playable. Elevation changes. Greens are fair, but most seem to be elevated. Par threes are challenging, but not unplayable. Surroundings are quiet--no houses. Would play more often if I lived up there. The hotels at the...More

Great golf course, nice views and good character. There were four in our group and the pace of play was perfect. Very nice practice range and greens. Clubhouse merchandise way overpriced which is to be expected. Would definitely recommend and would go back again!
