This house is amazing. We are allowed to tour the first floor and gardens. The upper floors are not part of the tour because the family still lives in the house.

This tour was awesome. Even though we were not allowed upstairs there was enough on the first level to satisfy us. I wish the tour was a little longer but it was still a five star tour!

Our guide was great. She provided so much detail about the history of the house, the people that constructed it and the people who lived here.

We enjoyed the tour of this home but it wouldn't be the same if you have not seen the movie that surrounds this home. The Garden of Midnight and Evil starring Kevin Spacey is one that you must watch before going to this home as...More

Don't miss this if you enjoy fine antiques, history and interior design. Mr. Williams was a genius! The furnishings and the way he put things together was pure genius!

Of course, most that tour this house have read and loved the novel Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. However, the current owner of this house is the sister of Jim Williams and the tour is to show off the house and its...More

There are many reviews from disappointed tourists complaining that the Mercer Williams House tour is a rip-off. These would have been the same people who over 150 years ago followed the sign "This Way to the Egress" at P.T.Barnum's American Museum and found themselves outside....More

We had done a little research before our tour so we knew the tour was about the home and Jim Williams’ art collection, not about the book or movie, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Knowing what to expect, the tour did not...More

There is only a guided tour. Parking can be tight in the city, so I would recommend Uber and/or walking.
