The gates are open, wander through. The graves are all pre Civil War and the history is remarkable. Many stones are hard to read, but worth the effort.

Very pretty historic cemetery downtown. It's worth grabbing a cup of coffee or a beer and walking through to read the historic markers throughout the park.

Awesome place to walk around! Make sure you read the historical signs near some of the gravestones. Also if you take the trolley tours, they will tell you really interesting things about the cemetery!

This cemetery is an excellent stop while in the historic district. In my opinion, it has more fascinating graves than the more famous and farther out Bonaventure. You can swing by Colonial Park Cemetery on your day wandering around historic Savannah. There is good signage...More

Could be a lot better if the City would take the time to clean up the headstones so you can read them the way it is now it's kind of pointless to go there you cannot read all of them so why bother all it...More
