The Davenport house is a beautiful Savannah house. It’s well preserved if not completely original. The tour was very informative.

The campaign to save this property was the start of a programme that has saved and restored over 350 properties in the town. The house is of great interest and the guided tour was excellent.

best tour in Savannah, describes how the historical society kicks into high gear to save the old houses and gives a great background to what people are trying to save.
