Forrest Gump told his story from a bench in this park/square, where he waited for the bus. The statue in the center is NOT Johnny Depp, it's General James Oglethorpe, although their hats are similar!

I think there are about fifteen squares in Savannah...this one and Johnson were the prettiest ones. Lots of people watching and relaxing here!

Nice little park not far from lots of the other sites in town. Not much to see here, but it is where Forrest Gump sat and told his stories.

Spent a few minutes around the park and loved every minute of it. The park is beautiful and quaint with a gorgeous statue in the center of it. Loved the story behind it to and it's well worth stopping by.
