Must see when in Savannah. We ate at Rock's on the River. After having brunch we went upstairs to the roof and sat at a table overlooking the river. Beautiful view.

The Riverwalk was interesting, but was too commercial for our taste. Full of restaurants and bars...and drunk rowdy tourists. Next time we will skip this area and concentrate on the historic homes and museums.

Walking downtown on the river is very relaxing. There are benches to sit on. The shops are neat to go in to and buy souvenirs. Great view.

My friends and I walked up and down River Street. It's a very lively area of Savannah. Next time will take a river cruise.

We walked up and down River Street many times during our conference between our hotels. We were always finding something new to do or a new place to stop!
