Lots of people, shops and goings on on the river during our 2 hours walking along River Street. Very "touristy" but also some history there, too.

Impressive views as you walk along the entire waterfront. Although a little touristy in places, it is great for people watching as you stroll. Strategically placed and informative historic boards help fill in the background to the area's social history. Has to be part of...More

Crowded and noisy. A must to walk through and see the shops, restaurants and people. Sit down and watch the container ships come in and out or take a cruise down the river. Just a fun place to be.

We only tried 2 on the river. fiddler's Crab House & Huey's. Both were good. outside of that, our worst meal was at Lady & Son's (it wasn't bad; but it wasn't great). The Old Pink House is a must!
