Great idea! We really enjoyed the 3 hours with the other couples and our friendly tour guide Gary! My wife can't eat gluten (which we put in the notes when we bought the tix as the reservations requested) but no arrangements were made for her, sadly, and 2 of the 5 restaurants she couldn't eat anything. Gary was nice...but not... More

We loved that we could do this tour of several local restaurants and get driven around instead of walking. Our driver, Gary, was also the one who did our Movie tour and again, we were the only ones on the tour. We visited Lady and Sons, Paula Dean's restaurant and got a bowl to eat at the buffet and her... More

A group of 13 ladies and myself visited Savannah the weekend after Hurricane Matthew. We had signed up for the food tour by bus and it continued as planned. Gary was our tour guide. This food tour was wonderful. We have done many food tours on our trips around the US ( New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, etc). This was... More

I wanted to sample some of the restaurants in Savannah and thought this would be perfect. The tour starts at 11am and Gary my tour guide was on time. He let me on the bus and I sat down. He then told me all the other people on this tour had cancelled. I was surprised and told him it was... More

My boyfriend and I went on the Foody Tour on Saturday, 8/6/16. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect as far as how much food we would get but all of the reviews said you would get full. That's an understatement! We visited 5 different places. Paula Dean's, Lady and son's restaurant. There, they give you a small bowl, you... More

Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We stopped at 5 restaurants: Lady and Sons-we gave it a 5, Tubby's - we gave it a 3, Pirates House we gave it a 3, Sisters we gave it a 2, and The River Street Sweet Shop got a 4! At a few of the locations we felt as if we... More

Gary was our driver and very pleasant and knowledgeable. You see more with this tour plus eat your way through it! Would definetly recommend. The only downside is our first stop at Paula deeds ,Lady & sons, they give you a stryfoam cup and have you pick an item off the buffet. Then you sit on waiting benches to eat... More

We actually missed the bus. My sister called Gary and he came back for us. He handled the situation and a street parade with great charm and humor. He kept us well informed about all the restaurants we visited and a lot about the town itself. We visited 6 restaurants and we were so full at the end of the... More

Gary the tour guide was excellent. He provided so much history and humor and was so pleasant. Every restaurant stop had something delicious. My favorites were Sisters of the South and River Street Sweets. You'll definitely be full by the 5th stop. I would take this tour again the next time I visit Savannah.

This attraction met at the savannah visitor center. Gary Owens was our tour guide and really knew his stuff. He was pleasant, easy to talk to, and made my husband and I feel comfortable along the way. What I thought would be a crowded activity turned out to be a private tour for my husband and I, and it was... More
