This area of Savannah lends itself to a very relaxing walk for old and young alike. Several unique shops to visit and several places to dine. A MUST for everyone who visits Savannah.

Stumbled across the Friday night activities at the Market. Grabbed a "to go" drink from one of the bars and wandered around. Had a ball! Will definitely come back for a visit.

is not what is used to be, but it's fine to grab a quick frozen drink without having to go down on River Street. The bars all seem a little too seedy now. The live entertainment has gone from full on jam bands to one man shows, causing. Ore people just sitting around versus dancing. Not what it used to... More

When we were there a band was playing, food was being served out doors, there were clowns for the kids, and we took a horse and buggy rides around the city. We also shopped in the cute shops .

This was not a very high quality collection os stores or galleries. It wasn't worth the trip there. Mostly poor quality things.

We pulled into town last Friday, immediately fell in love with the downtown area and changed our hotel reservation for the following night to stay in the historic district. Cute stores, plenty of restaurants, great atmosphere. The squares are a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the slower pace of life.

You have to go to the cookie shop to do a taste test! Eclectic dining and shopping there as well. Can catch a horse and carriage tour a little off the beaten path.

Nice variety of restaurants from casual to fine dining. Shops are a nice change romantic the t-shirt type shops along the river area. Especially the art gallery area which has 2 floors of various artists. It is a nice place to spend a morning or afternoon.

Great place to shop and sight see. Be sure to visit the bronze life size statue of Johnny Mercer, Grammy & Oscar winner and famous composer of "Moon River" "Summer Wind" "Goody Goody" and many more.
