In town on business and caught a game when I had a free night. Love the history of the stadium and not a bad seat in the house. Best seat in the house is $10 or under so you can't beat it. No particular specials running the night I was there but have to assume during the weekends and the... More

We saw the SandGnats on $1 night. Admission $1, hot dogs, $1 and beer $1. What could there not be to like! Oh, and the historic stadium is great too!

This historic stadium, which dates back to the 1920's, offers a nice venue for watching a baseball game. It's small enough that almost every seat is a good seat and even the general admission tickets offer seats that are more comfortable than the usual bleacher type seats found in many small ballparks. Home to the Savannah Sand Gnats, a Mets... More

This is a really neat ball field, my hsb sold peanuts there in 1942 they have added to it since then, if you are visiting Savannah in April, their ball team the Gnats (Mets farm team) will have their games and it is so much fun to watch, seats are very well situated to watch from and good concession stand.... Great family fun, kids love it, food is just right for the sporting event. Enjoy fireworks on Sat night and kids running the bases after every game.

The Sand Gnats are always a good team to watch. The stadium is perfect! Easy parking, beautiful structure and weather is always great to watch from the seats. And I love the hot dogs...well maybe because the buns are always so soft! Go on--watch a game.

We stayed at the Ellis Square Inn after driving down from Hilton Head. When we are up north for 6 months (Forked River, NJ) we follow our single A team, the Lakewood BlueClaws. We played the Sand Gnats on opening day at Grayson Stadium, which from all reports was a broken down venue. NOT EVEN.!! I found the place to... More

If you can find the time to catch a Savannah Sand Gnats Game at Grayson Stadium, DO IT! It's an old old ball park, but very clean and family friendly and cheap. It's Class A Minor League Ball, so these guys are playing hard to move up. It's a bit of a ride from the Historic section of town, but... More

Graduated SHS in this ballpark. My daughter waitressed ball games during summer break. Now,my grandkids enjoy the real deal. Preservation of a golden era that is still functional. Talk... More
