I was out for a morning walk along the river trail while in town for business. Took the detour to cross the land bridge over the highway. It is well constructed and I enjoyed reading some of the signs labeling various plants.

Beautiful land bridge for walking, connecting Fort Vancouver with the Columbia River Waterfront. It is treelined, providing shade over the benches to rest.

The heck out of me. We thought this was an actual remnant of a historical trail. But is is part of a path that the Fort built along the Columbia and the land bridge is a pedestrian bridge over the highway. The nice little exhibit...More

Don't get me wrong. This land bridge is lovely and if you're walking in the area, it's a nice place to explore. HOWEVER, that being said: This currently ranks #5 out of things to do in Vancouver, and that's just...weird. People, if you are visiting...More

While visiting the Fort Vancouver Historical Site, my friend convinced me to walk the bridge. It starts at the Fort and goes over Highway 14. It's not a strenuous walk but it's interesting to walk over the highway with no vehicular traffic on the bridge....More

I tricked my husband into walking from our hotel to the national park. It's about a 3/4 mile walk from downtown, but a beautiful walk that takes you over the interstate and back around to the park. I had a great time as did he...More
