This handsome setting of the past has a lot to offer. Museums, historic events, restaurants and venues, seasonal events for the whole family. The park has space and leisurely strolling paths.

If you'd like to see how the military officers lived and conducted their lives, this is the place to visit. The houses are classics; some are opened to the public. Walk the row and get a sense of history, it's worth the time.

These homes are large and impressive, built for Officers posted at the Fort. Amongst them are homes where General Grant, General Marshall and General Howard and their families were quartered. You can even get a meal at General Grants former home. The are quite large...More
