Like most things at Chena, it was neat to see. The museum is small but the talent the artists have is amazing. I kind of felt like I was in a scene from Frozen! We didn't spring for the drinks at the ice bar, which looked yummy, so after exploring the various rooms, we were able to go get some... More

The museum itself was kind of moderate, but it was really fun experience to have the Appletini in the ice glass.

The meseum is not big but very amazing! We loved seeing all the wonderful items frozen in the ice. The appletini with ice cup is a coooool experience. It is not far from the hotel room neither. Highly recommended for people who stayed at the hotel.

The Ice Museum is at Chena Hot Springs - about a 90 minute drive from Fairbanks. Well worth the trip. The Ice Museum is amazing. There are not only ice sculptures, there are entire "rooms" made of ice - beds, night stands, decorations. There is a full-service "bar" completely made of ice. The stools are covered with caribou skins so... More

While staying at Chena Hot Springs we visited the ice museum. Our host was very personable and took us through the building with amazing ice sculptures and rooms all make of ice. We've never seen something like this and while the visit was short it was fun to see. The appletini in an ice glass was very tasty and a... More

Really quick tour, but the guide was entertaining and it was definitely worth the stop in if you're already at the hot springs.

As the headline says....It's okay. Not worth the price I paid. You go in and go out. Maybe if they have the ice bar open as a regular bar; that would be fun. Go to North Pole Ice Carvings next to the Santa Clause House; now that was impressive..............

My kids are 2 & 5yo. I wasn't sure if they would enjoy this but they had the best time. Very beautiful ice carvings all lit up!! My husband and I enjoyed the appletinis served in carved ice glasses!!
