Great Souvenir

Purchased a couple of the etched bowls. Very pretty for displaying. They also offer several other items that would be a great souvenir.

Hand made bowls and many other items are available here, a nice variety of wood items as well as food. It's worth a stop to look.

If you're able to observe them making the bowls, this is an interesting place to visit. It is basically a souvenir shop but worth going to. It tends to be on the expensive side however.

Very nice shop; staff was great and friendly. It was interesting watching the laser burning the designs. The prices were good-high enough to make it special but not too high that you wouldn't buy something.

This place has been in Fairbanks since at least the 1980's. Nothing has changed, including the muddy parking lot. The items made from Birch are indeed unique (and therefore expensive). You can watch them make things there. Most, if not all, of the non-wood things can be bought at places like Fred Meyer for less. So stop by the bowl... More

We stopped in to see the bowl making process and look at what they were making. Very nice folks in the showroom with 90% Alaskan made products. We watched the bowls being cut from the raw wood. Purchased one with a scene laser etched in the bowl for a reminder of out trip. Hand made in Alaska. Great products

I saw alot of advertising so I wanted to stop here. The parking lot was full of holes and mud. The bowls are very expensive. They had a few other souvenir items but they were pricey as well. I recommend skipping this stop!

I saw an advertisement for this store online and thought it looked like a good stop to make while coming through Fairbanks. I'm so glad we decided to stop. Karen was so helpful and knowledgeable about the store and how the bowls are made. The way she described how they applied the food safe oil to each of the bowl,... More
