Museum features exhibits on the Klondike Gold Rush, Early Fairbanks, The Great Flood of 1967, Winter in Fairbanks and The Driving Spirit Dog Mushing Museum which features a detailed history of the use of sled dogs in the Far North. Admission is free, however donations are greatly appreciated.

Lots of history of Alaska on display. It's small, but well put together and worth while seeing while in downtown Fairbanks. Free but they request a donation of $3.

This is a very nice but yet small museum. The size of the museum does not diminish the overall good quality of the Alaskan artifacts and displays. This is a good way to spend one hour and gain some interesting insight into the Fairbanks area.

It is worth the hunt to find this place. Tons of local history. Free but donations accepted. A gem hidden downtown.
